Shades by Niko are the UK sweets launched by YouTuber Niko Omilana. They aren't sold in US stores, but The British Vault ships the 150g bags from Britain with duties and taxes included.
Who is behind Shades?
Niko Omilana is a British YouTuber and member of the Beta Squad group, known for his pranks and his runs for political office in the UK. He launched Shades in the UK in May 2025.
The flavours
- The Originals: the go-to mixed bag.
- Straight Up Strawberry: all strawberry.
- Sour Ultimate Vibes: the sour one.
- It's Cherry Cola: cola sweets with a cherry twist.
Vegan and halal
The Originals pack says it's made to a vegan recipe and carries a halal certification for Europe, so there's no gelatine. The colours come from fruit and plant concentrates such as black carrot, radish and blackcurrant.
Why can't I find them in the US?
Shades is a new British brand sold through UK supermarkets, so it hasn't reached US shelves. Importing is the only way to get the real bags for now.
