We've kept it simple with this one, just our signature fermented jalapeños and three other ingredients. You know that go-to hot sauce you're always reaching for? This is it. Spicy, garlicky, slightly salty, with a deep, fruity kick of jalapeño.
The hero of the recipe? Our fermented jalapeños. We take perfectly ripened red jalapeños, salt them, and let them age for 2-4 weeks, bringing out layers and layers of flavour.
Original Hot Sauce is the perfect pour-on for fajitas, tacos, enchiladas and burritos. Beyond Mexican food, we love it on eggs and other breakfast dishes, too. With only four ingredients, it's great for adding heat to dishes without overpowering them with different flavour profiles. Pour some in a chilli con carne or mac and cheese for a dash of heat.
