The Rice Upgrade Spending time with Basmati growers across Northern India changed how I thought about rice. I learned how each Basmati variety is shaped by where it's grown, & that farming practices really matter. I tasted grains with real flavour & quality. I started Nice Rice so i could have that experience when i'm cooking at home. I hope you enjoy it.

We chose this Basmati variety for its subtle sweetness and light, delicate texture. Here's the cooking method we swear by:

Rinse & Soak: Give the grains a good rinse, then soak in cold water for 15-20 minutes in a large pan. This softens the grains so they cook perfectly.

Simmer: Bring to the boil. Reduce heat, simmer for 5-6 minutes.
